Washington has a lot of problems; poverty, lack of representation, crime, and corruption are only a few. But lately there have been some headlines that made me proud to be an aspiring Washingtonian.
1. First Gay Marriages in District Performed
2. Woman Named Football Coach
3. D.C. Promotes Female Condom
None of these things would ever happen in Utah. Especially #3. "Hey, honey, look what I got when I went to the salon to have my new Bumpit installed."
